What to Expect?

You will be greeted warmly by a team dedicated to help you. Judy runs the front office and sets the friendly, calm tone. Dr. Pillow provides one on one time with hands-on care at each visit. She will teach you tools to help you heal and avoid subsequent injuries.  We believe in cooperative care and have relationships with local professionals: Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, Pilates Instructors, exercise classes and Yoga studios. Our office is patient centered, which means that we maintain a schedule that is on time; we understand that your time is important, just like ours. All paperwork is straight-forward and we bill electronically.

What can I expect on my first visit?

Your first office visit will consist of a health history, a physical exam to diagnose the injury or issue and treatment. Doctor Pillow will explain causative factors, even if there seems to be no specific mechanism of injury. Lastly, you will be given instruction on home care and ergonomics.

How long will it take to get better?

Everyone heals at a different rate. The restoration to health is multi-factorial. It depends on how long the condition is present, physical condition and whether the issue is cumulative or traumatic. The doctor will assess your individual condition and give you an idea of how long it will take to get better. This could be one visit or several.

Who should receive Chiropractic care?

We treat the young to the young at heart! Some patients seek pain relief; others are interested in maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. We work with folks that are interested in getting better and taking part in their recovery. Headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatic and other neuro-musculo-skeletal (nerve-muscle-bone) conditions respond well to Chiropractic care. Many of our patients have chronic illnesses and use Chiropractic care as a means of managing their conditions and to just feel better in general.
